摘要: Background Language sites in the cortex of brain vary among patients. mapping while patient is awake an intraoperative technique designed to minimize language deficits associated with brain-tumor resection. Methods To study function after resection mapping, we examined 250 consecutive patients gliomas. Positive (i.e., regions brain, 1 cm by cm, which were temporarily inactivated means a bipolar electrode) identified and categorized into cortical maps. The tumors resected up from areas where stimulation produced disturbance language. Our strategy did not require identification stimulation-induced within field exposure.
