摘要: In the last few years, technology has provided new instruments for three-dimensional analysis of human facial morphology. Currently, quantitative assessments dimensions, spatial positions and relative proportions distinctive features can be obtained both soft- hard- (skeletal dental) tissues. New mathematical tools allow to fuse digital data from various image analyzers, thus providing information anatomical nthropometric descriptions, medical evaluations (clinical genetics, orthodontics, maxillo-facial plastic surgery), forensic medicine.
