摘要: Abstract Colorectal surgery is associated with a greater risk for infections than most other surgical specialities and considered an outlier site (SSI). Reducing the incidence of infections, especially SSIs, remains major challenge in colorectal surgery. Prevention SSIs can be achieved by several methods, including optimized preoperative patient preparation, perioperative bowel strict adherence to antibiotic prophylaxis guidelines, increased intraoperative oxygen delivery, wound irrigation, maintenance normothermia, postoperative glycemic control. urinary tract early catheter removal sterile placement. Respiratory prevented smoking cessation, mobilization, pulmonary care use incentive spirometry, coughing deep breathing, oral care, head-of-bed elevation.
