摘要: The binary switch gene Sex-lethal (Sxl) controls sexual identity in Drosophila. When activated, Sxl imposes female identity, whereas male ensues by default when the is off. decision to activate controlled an X chromosome counting system that regulates establishment promoter, Sxl-Pe. depends upon twofold difference dose of a series X-linked transcription factors or numerators. Because this dose, early embryos express twice amount these factors, and cumulative action turns on Here we show Drosophila Myc diminutive numerator.
