摘要: Abstract Periodic Mesoporous Organosilicas (PMOs) represent a new class of organic-inorganic hybrid materials suitable for broad range applications. In the present contribution iodine vapours were adsorbed on phenylene-bridged PMOs with hexagonal 2D pore structure. The adsorption was followed by UV-visible spectroscopy, and information obtained concerning electron donor ability structural aromatic rings. Traces I 3 − species also detected. A comparison between two different degrees molecular order in walls revealed that rings material amorphous are more available to interaction iodine.
