摘要: What's known on the subject? and What does study add? Nowadays radical prostatectomy (RP) is considered an effective treatment in high-risk prostate cancer (PCa) indications for a surgical approach are expanding, even cases of very high PSA or node-positive disease. We explored outcomes debulking surgery setting these PCa patients, order to assess its feasibility. This review confirms important role achieved by complex patients with PCA. Excellent survival rates have been reported, when exceeds 100 ng/mL. The completion RP lymphadenectomy might give benefit who were found intraoperatively be node-positive. Furthermore, salvage confirmed most option after RT failure. On contrary, up-to-date isolated nodal recurrences has shown only little benefit. Finally, there no evidence supporting efficacy metastatic hormone-refractory tumours. An accurate selection patient essential.
