摘要: The objective of this review was to evaluate the clinical efficacy and safety remifentanil in management labor pain. Although neuraxial analgesia is best option during labor, alternative analgesic options are needed for patients with contraindications. Using a systematic literature search, outcomes pain have been summarized. Also, comparisons other including meperidine, epidural analgesia, fentanyl, nitrous oxide provided. Based on review, associated high overall maternal satisfaction favorable side-effect profile. However, due low reporting adverse events, large, randomized controlled trials neonatal adequately determine optimal dosing provide effective analgesia. While feasible who cannot or do not want receive administration should be monitored closely potential effects.
