摘要: Deep Soil Mix (DSM) is a proven method of ground improvement for deeper underlying soft soil layers which are otherwise impractical to reach using conventional shallow stabilization and replacement methods. The predominant binder materials used Ordinary Portland cement (OPC) Lime (CaO) but negative effects the environment from manufacture increasing construction cost have prompted research into alternative materials. This review identifies pozzolans filler as possible supplements or partial substitutes better results. DSM reaction processes during treated strength development outlined effectiveness different (Fly Ash, Silica Fume, Ground Granulated Blast Furnace Slag, Rice Husk Kaolin, Metakaolin) (e.g. fine sand) discussed together with their influence factors. With many pozzolans, clear optimum dosage observed where improved peaks. Aluminosilicate perform over siliceous Metakaolin (MK) identified most effective pozzolan enhancing compressive strength. Up date results on these compiled. MK blended cements readily available can be applied initial field tests. Treated may regulated addition further reduce reliance cement.
