摘要: The bovine papillomavirus E5 gene encodes a 44 amino acid membrane-associated protein that can induce tumorigenic transformation of rodent fibroblast cell lines. Genetic studies suggest the may transform cells by influencing activity cellular proteins involved in growth regulation. We report here endogenous beta type receptor for platelet-derived factor (PDGF) is constitutively activated C127 and FR3T3 stably transformed protein, but not these types variety other oncogenes. In cells, metabolic precursor as well mature form transformation. Activation also occurs upon acute E5-mediated precedes mitogenic stimulation this system. Moreover, activation addition PDGF or v-sis to untransformed sufficient DNA synthesis stable propose an important intermediate transforming protein. There short region sequence similarity between fibropapillomavirus PDGF, suggesting activate binding directly it.
