摘要: Phototherapy with blue fluorescent light is widely employed for treatment of neonatal hyperbilirubinemia. Functional, biochemical, and morphologic changes produced by in human platelets were identified characterized. Platelet-rich plasma was exposed up to 170 min amounts equivalent that used phototherapy Within 110 exposure, essentially no longer aggregable ADP connective tissue suspension depleted ADP, ATP, glycogen. Electron photomicrographs revealed these be swollen, glycogen granules organelles, have ill-defined membranes. Platelet injury could accelerated adding a photosensitizing agent, hematoporphyrin, platelet samples before exposure. In contrast, control kept the dark or nonirradiated resuspended irradiated maintained their integrity. The results indicate are damaged vitro when phototherapy.
