摘要: Abstract Measuring the economic value of environmental quality is useful to evaluate policies that affect use natural resources. This paper presents findings a contingent valuation (CV) survey designed measure non-use values for coastal environment.This was attempted through evaluating public and scientific conservation quality. The results suggest perceptions are multidimensional,and it may be difficult some individuals express their preferences resources in monetary terms. Additionally, judgments differ concerning physical attributes imparting value. These have important implications on efforts consider land decisions.
