摘要: Abstract Profiles from boron analytical data for the Mansfield and Ryhope marine bands at three localities show marked similarities. Within band higher concentrations are found than either above or below it. When faunal evidence is considered, however, it must be concluded that boron/paleosalinity relationship complex, differing interpretations based on paleontological not in this case made more compatible by considering boron/potash ratios. A survey of previous workers field leads to postulation a new mechanism concentration which rationalizes much conflicting literature paleosalinity.
