摘要: The degradation of the drug L-α-methyldopa (MD) in alkaline solutions was studied by Reversed-Phase High Performance Liquid Chromatography. It found that presence borate ion solution inhibited formation MD-melanin, final product degradation. complexes with both MD and intermediates pathway, maintaining them longer medium. Through use a synthetic standard half-way intermediate oxidation 5,6-dihydroxy-2-methylindole (Me-DHI), examination UV/vis spectra chromatographic peaks, it possible to demonstrate stabilization later stage ion. inhibition melanin may be correlated this intermediate. Hence, mechanism could generalized applied biogenic catecholamines, such as dopamine L-dopa, natural precursor mammalian melanin.
