摘要: Background: Lack of breast feeding has been reported to be associated with a number chronic childhood disorders. Aim: To use recently described measure, the population impact eliminating risk factor over time period (PIN-ER- t ), quantify burden low rates in UK babies born 2002 regard asthma, coeliac disease and obesity. Methods: We performed literature searches for systematic reviews meta-analyses that had investigated association between obesity. Based on these data, published data prevalence disorders, we calculated PIN-ER- estimated cases each disorder which could prevented by “no feeding” as factor. Results: In 596 122 England Wales 2002, obesity 7–9 years if was eliminated were 33 100 (95% CI 17 710 47 543), 2655 1937 3343) 13639 7838 19308), respectively. Conclusions: The is high disorders. allows quantified communicated way will make it easier both general public decision makers understand.
