摘要: This paper presents a novel approach to solve an optimal power flow problem with embedded security constraints (OPF-SC), represented by mixture of continuous and discrete control variables, where the major aim is minimize total operating cost, taking into account both system capacity requirements. The particle swarm optimization (PSO) algorithm reconstruction operators (PSO-RO) has been used as tool. Such guarantee searching solution within feasible space, reducing computation time improving quality solution. Results on systems from specialized literature are adopted validate proposed approach.
