摘要: Nowadays, micropollutants such as pharmaceuticals, pesticides and personal care products can be found ubiquitously in the anthropogenically influenced water cycle. As have virtually no natural background concentrations they are significantly more sensitive detecting processes flow paths than classic inorganic tracers indicators at same time often highly source specific. Therefore, using environmental for anthropogenic activities is a common frequently applied method today. interact many ways with matrices used apportionment well to estimate residence times waterbodies. This review gives systematic overview over large variety of aquatic environment last decades together prerequisites on their use. Their application subdivided into qualitative (compound presence or absence) quantitative (volume flows) use shows numerous possibilities from gaining basic information regime up advanced applications wastewater-based epidemiology.
