摘要: The Special Issue on Tribology and Surface Engineering includes nine research articles one review article. It concerns a very important problem of resistance to wear shaping the properties surface layers different materials by methods technologies. topics presented include reactive direct current magnetron sputtering silicon nitrides implants, laser modification aeroengine turbine blades, micro-texturing titanium alloy increase tribological characteristics, electroplating Cu–Sn composite coatings incorporated with Polytetrafluoroethylene (PTFE) TiO2 particles, arc spraying self-lubricous coatings, high velocity oxygen fuel (HVOF) gas nitriding stainless steel HVOF WC-Co testing deposited physical vapour deposition (PVD), also analysis material removal creation in wood sanding. special issue provides valuable knowledge based theoretical empirical study field coating technologies, as well characterization phenomena.
