摘要: The challenges that climate change poses for marine ecosystems are already manifesting in impacts at the species, population, and community levels Australia, particularly Tasmania tropical northern Australia. Many species habitats under threat as a result of human activities, additional pressure from significantly increases challenge conservation management. Climate expected to magnify sea surface temperatures, ocean chemistry, circulation, level, rainfall, storm patterns continue this century. In particular, keystone form foundation habitats, such coral reefs, kelp beds, temperate rocky projected pass thresholds with subsequent implications communities ecosystems. This review synthesises recent science field: observed responses change, ecological strategies promote adaptation. Increasing observations climate-related on Australia’s ecosystems—both tropical—are making adaptive management more important than ever before. Our increased understanding provides focus “no-regrets” adaptations can be implemented now refined knowledge improves.
