摘要: Objectives This study sought to: a) estimate the frequency of poor self-rated oral health as assessed by a summary measure; b) compare according to sociodemographic, behavioral, and psychological distress factors; (3) determine if was associated with after adjusting for confounding. Methods Data were from convenience sample Indigenous Australian adults (n = 289) residing in Australia's Northern Territory. Poor defined reported experience toothache, dental appearance or food avoidance last 12 months. A logistic regression model used evaluate socio-demographic, associations (SROH). Effects quantified odds ratios (OR). Results The SROH 73.7 percent. High distress, measured Kessler-6 score ≥8, experienced 33.9 percent participants. high levels being older, female, usually visiting dentist because problem. In multivariable model, factors that significantly adjustment other covariates included having level (OR 2.74, 95% CI 1.25–6.00), female 2.22, 1.03–4.78), problem 3.57, 1.89–6.76).
