摘要: A cDNA containing the complete amino acid-coding region of wound-induced tomato Inhibitor II was constructed in plasmid pUC9. The open reading frame codes for 148 acids including a 25-amino acid signal sequence preceding N-terminal lysine mature II. exhibits two domains, one domain having trypsin inhibitory site and other chymotrypsin site, apparently evolved from smaller gene by process duplication elongation. leaf homology with small proteinase inhibitors isolated potato tuber an inhibitor eggplant. are homologous 33 19 C-terminal domain. Two identical nucleotide sequences 3' noncoding were present that also found I cDNA. These include atypical polyadenylation signal, AATAAG, 10-base palindromic sequence, CATTATAATG, which no function is yet known.
