A Holistic Approach to Improving the Musculoskeletal Health of City Busand Long-Distance Bus Drivers

摘要: Purpose: To compare the work-related and lifestyle factors that support musculoskeletal health of city bus (CB) drivers long-distance (LDB) drivers, to find solutions for improving drivers' health. Methods: The participants were 62 (aged 34-64 years). Data gathered using a questionnaire, interviews workshop. Altogether 27 CB 35 LDB responded four interviewed. Results: prevalence disorders (MSDs) was higher among than drivers. difference statistically significant (p<0.05) shoulder pain. more often reported awkward neck postures whereas performed manual lifting tasks frequently. exposed psychosocial load unhealthy rated usability cabs as better ratings Conclusion: needs both must be considered when ergonomic interventions holistic approach are applied in trade companies. There is need cabs; good maintenance buses work equipment; development organization; training on ergonomics, lifestyle, content issues.
