摘要: Considerable interest has been generated during the last few years by development of styrene-butadiene-styrene (SBS) block copolymers. These polymers were found to be two phase systems, with glass transition temperatures and properties closely resembling those crosslinked filled elastomers. The are almost identical individual blocks, i.e., −80 +90°C. Above temperature hard segments, lose their mechanical properties.,This work discusses an attempt replace polystyrene poly-α-methylstyrene in these literature reports different for poly-α-methylstyrene. Values as high 184°C measured our laboratories. purpose this is utilize obtain a thermoplastic elastomer use temperature. According Holdenl,2 SBS copolymers can prepared living anionic polymerization.
