摘要: Electron-transfer (ET) reactions are key steps in photosynthisis, respiration, drug metabolism, and many other biochemical processes. The ETs remarkably fast proceeded with high specificity. Theoreticians have been intensely interested long-range protein ET for years. This perspective paper discusses the tunneling-pathway model coupling, giving example Cytochrome c. Different coupling strength different pathway families mentioned a brief overview of future understanding is given.
