摘要: Two different types of sand bodies characterize the Maresme Coast (NE Spain). A longshore submarine sand,bar built by theTordera river output is 6 km long and progressively deepens to 8 m depth. Four littoral bar systems have been generated at decresing depths following sea level rise from shelf. These are quite processes: drift; reflective storm waves rip currents. C14 dating has enabled us make a chronological frame work for both
