摘要: Some practical and theoretical concepts related to the use of an acoustic Doppler current profiler (ADCP) in a small river are examined. The importance understating limitations measurement equipment system for locating exact position ADCP discussed. Details new protocol which is suitable rivers presented. Small samples data measured River Blackwater used illustrate outlined paper. It concluded that ADCPs can be successfully provided sufficient care taken over their deployment subsequent analysis. However, some cases it acknowledged additional modifications may need undertaken as illustrated
