摘要: Pulmonary Alveolar Microlithiasis (PAM) is a rare disease characterized by calcium salt deposits within the alveoli. In literature, about 700 cases have been published up to April 2012. The develops slowly and progressive lung involvement, starting from lower lobes with extension middle upper zones. chest radiograph gives picture sandstorm-like which often first sign in absence of clinical symptoms. characteristic high resolution computed tomography (HRCT) pathognomonic diagnosis made, especially if microliths are found BAL.
