摘要: We analyzed the participation of women scientists in 10 ESA (European Space Agency) Solar System missions over a period 38 years. Being part spacecraft mission science team can be considered proxy to measure "success" field. Participation PI (Princi-pal Investigators) teams varied between 4 % and 25 %, with several no as PI. The percentage female Co-I (Co-Investigators) is always less than 16 %. This number lower International Astronomical Union from all ESA's Member State (24 %), which give us an indication encountered many difficulties gather data for this study. list members were not easily accessible. An additional difficulty was determine planetary Europe. would like encourage community whole, well international organizations, universities societies continuously statistics Detailed are only first step closely monitor development achievement gaps initiate measures tackle potential causes inequity, leading gender inequalities STEM careers.
