摘要: The expression of Atcys-3A gene coding for cytosolic O-acetylserine(thiol)lyase, a key enzyme in cysteine biosynthesis, from Arabidopsis thaliana is significantly induced by exposure to salt and heavy-metal stresses. Addition NaCl mature plants rapid accumulation the mRNA throughout leaf lamina roots, later on stems, being mainly restricted vascular tissues. salt-specific regulation was also mediated abscisic acid (ABA) since: (1) exogenous addition ABA culture medium mimicked salt-induced plant response raising level transcript, (2) mutants aba-1 abi2-1 were not able respond NaCl. Our results suggest that high rate biosynthesis required under stress necessary protection or adaptation mechanism. This hypothesis supported observation intracellular levels glutathione increased up 3-fold after treatment.
