摘要: Previous studies have implicated a brainstem dysfunction in the syndrome of autism. This study matched six autistic children with normal by age and sex to evaluate evoked response (BSER) auditory stimuli. An evaluation pure tone audiometric threshold showed no evidence impairment; however, electrophysiologic responses differed for control groups. The BSER was remarkable showing increased latency markedly variability. findings from this add additional children, while variability supports hypothesis perceptual inconstancy.
