摘要: Abstract Background Understanding the association between motor capacity (MC) (what people can do in a standardized environment), mobility performance (MP) actually real-life) and falls is important for early detection of counteracting on functional decline, particularly rapidly growing population young seniors. Therefore, this study aims to 1) explore MC MP, falls, 2) investigate whether challenging measures are better associated with MP than basic measures. Methods Basic (habitual gait speed, Timed Up-and-Go) (fast Community Balance & Mobility Scale) were performed 169 seniors (61–70 years). was assessed using one-week sensor-monitoring including time being sedentary, light active, at least moderately active. Falls previous six months reported. Associations discriminative ability calculated correlation, regression receiver operating curve analysis. Results Mean age 66.4 (SD 2.4) years (50.6 % women). Small moderate associations (r = 0.06−0.31; p Conclusions Challenging closer as compared This indicates importance applying assessments On same note, small imply need an assessment both order capture best possible actual daily-life
