摘要: We propose a model for the Fe atomic displacements in low-temperature phase of magnetite Fe3O4 , based on analysis photon energy dependence scattered intensity selected reflections resonant x-ray scattering experiment. The symmetry displacement pattern is forced to be consistent with Cc space group, long time claimed actual phase. positions at octahedral sites and corresponding charges are accounted by fitting procedure comparing simulations experiment.We found small distortions a-b plane. An independent sensitivity charge occupancy permits refine ordering previously proposed. Finally we have computed electric moment combined 1.5 C/cm2.
