摘要: Introduction. Arsenic is one of the most hazardous elements that associate with airborne particulate matter in atmosphere. Among different species arsenic, ASIII has toxic and carcinogenic property between any other kind this element. speciation important environmental studies. Methods. We collected 59 samples from atmosphere Isfahan a three months period by high volume air sampler flow rate 1 m3 min-1. Air particulates were on paper filter (Whatman No.41). Four digestive procedures examined order to find best method. At last we chose digestion HCI (10-4N) due its feasibility, cost benefit efficacy. Other methods mixture HN03 H2O2, HNO3 H2O2 (1 N). The determination As3+ As5+ concentrations performed hydrIde generation atomic absorption spectrometry. effect Ph signal was also investigated arsenic speciation. Results. Average total saspended particles (TSP) July, August, September 1998 223, 172, 247 mg.m3 respectively. recovery almost same for methods. concentration NaBH4 optimized determining arsenic. pH=5, Asv didn't produce signal. So, ASm carried out easilyat above mentioned pH. The determined 47 samples. mean August 3.31, 2.01 2.6, respectively. Discussion. More than 50 percent atmospheric exists as which forms it recommended make suitable policy decreasing pollution our environment.
