摘要: The present invention provides methods of checking for duplicate port globally unique identifiers during a discovery subnet system using channel adapter. These allow Subnet Manager, an Infiniband entity managing the topology, to detect invalid ports that have matching GUIDs. An additional feature is recently added with GUID will not replace original same GUID, but instead be left out network.
