摘要: Abstract Burgers [Mechanical considerations––model systems––phenomenological theories of relaxation and viscosity, in: J.M. (Ed.), First Report on Viscosity Plasticity, Nordemann Publishing Company New York, 1935] introduced a viscoelastic fluid model to describe the response materials such as asphalt that also enjoys good deal popularity in field geomechanics. An instrument has been developed characterize material moduli fluids is orthogonal rheometer which essentially two parallel plates rotating about non-coincident axes, but with same angular speed. Flows variety non-Newtonian have studied an instrument. Here, we are able obtain exact solution for flow Burgers’ rheometer. We show pronounced boundary layers can develop during flows due reasons.
