摘要: Estimation of Crossbreeding Parameters with Special Consideration Epistatic Effects and Optimisation Procedures For Guinea Pigs in Bolivia The present study investigates the guinea pig as a native animal for meat production Andean countries Latin America. In framework rural development can contribute to better supply source income especially small holders by improving breeding management. objective this is estimate crossbreeding parameters, focusing on epistatic effects, from crossings between framed synthetic line consisting 29 Bolivian strains an imported Peru selected body weight, kept under semi-intensive/semi-extensive „modern“ management conditions. Conclusions optimisation systems should also be derivated.. introduction first special biological charcteristics well cultural symbolic meaning pig, systems, are briefly described. literature part treats gene effects crossbreeding, non-additive planning optimization systems.
