摘要: Abstract This study investigates how recent foraging gain affects the web-building behavior of garden spider, Argiope trifasciata, especially stabilimentum-building. Adult female spiders in field and cages were randomly assigned to two groups, fed unfed. Spiders group received three grasshoppers each day; unfed no prey. The experiment was terminated after A. trifasciata had built four consecutive webs; number days required by spider recorded.
