摘要: Implementation of standardized practices in the delivery room fosters a safe environment to ensure that newborn infants are cared for optimally, whether or not they require extensive resuscitation. Quality improvement (QI) is an excellent methodology implementation due multidisciplinary nature room, complexity tasks involved, and opportunities track processes outcomes. This article discusses how unique presents examples on approach QI. Key areas potential focus teams pursuing QI include thermal regulation, optimizing respiratory support, facilitating team communication.
