Proximity switched machine control method and apparatus

摘要: A control station for a machine is equipped with capacitive proximity sensors in two locations sensing the presence of operator's hands at locations. The are enclosed protective housing behind exterior target surfaces forming wall enclosure and supplied by voltage source. relay series each sensor source actuated when operators both sensed. Each generates an electrical field extending outwardly predetermined distance forwardly beyond surface which outside within need not be tactile contact surfaces. Only sensed do relays indicate operation machine.
