摘要: Abstract Objective The objective of this work was to show that fat-free, lecithin-formulated soy stanols lower cholesterol absorption and serum LDL cholesterol. Design Reduction in measured paired single-meal tests with or without formulated (acute test), changes lipids were investigated a 10-week, randomized, double-blind parallel trial which lecithin vehicle given three times daily for the last 4 weeks (chronic test). Subjects/setting Forty-five normal mildly hypercholesterolemic subjects recruited both studies. 21 (16 female, 5 male; mean age 32.5 years) studies had following lipid values: cholesterol, 2.79 mmol/L total 4.73 mmol/L. For reduction, 24 8 50.6 enrolled 3.72 5.66 mmol/L, respectively. Intervention using lemonade beverage egg whites contained 625 mg stanols. Throughout chronic study, followed American Heart Association Step I diet. During 4-week treatment phase, consumed lemonade-flavored containing either placebo (1.9 g). Main outcome measures Inhibition determined from difference plasma deuterated enrichment after test meal stanol-lecithin one only. In primary endpoints Statistical analyses performed Paired unpaired t used determine statistical significance. Results Stanol-lecithin reduced by 32.1% (P=.0045, n=10) 38.2% (P=.0022, n=11) when delivered whites, strongly related initial level absorbed tracer (r s =−0.739). 10.1% (P=.0019, n=24) 14.3% (P=.0016, n=24). Applications/conclusions Powdered lowers fat-free foods. J Am Diet Assoc. 2003;103:577-581.
