摘要: We are exposed to a wide spectrum of fungi including innocuous environmental organisms, opportunistic pathogens, commensal and that can actively explicitly cause disease. Much less is understood about effective host immunity than generally known bacterial viral pathogens. Innate adaptive arms the immune system required for defense against Candida, Aspergillus, Cryptococcus, others, with specific elements response regulating types fungal infections (e.g., mucocutaneous versus systemic). Here we will review themes controversies currently shaping investigation antifungal (primarily Candida Aspergillus) also examine emerging field role in gut microbiome.
