摘要: Renewable and biodegradable bioplastics can be produced from biopolymers such as proteins. Animal blood is a by-product meat processing rich in protein. It dried into low value bloodmeal used animal feed or fertiliser. Previous work has shown that converted thermoplastic using water, urea, sodium dodecyl sulphate (SDS), sulphite triethylene glycol (TEG). To increase its range of applications acceptance consumers, the colour odour was removed peracetic acid (PAA). The aim this study to investigate bioplastic 3-5% (w/w) PAA treated bloodmeal. powder compression moulded different combinations TEG, glycerol, SDS, sulphite, borax, salt silicate at concentrations up 60 parts per hundred (pphBM). Partially consolidated extrudates fully sheets were obtained combination TEG SDS. 4% best chosen for investigating effects SDS concentration on consolidation, specific mechanical energy input (SME) product during extrusion. Analysis variance (ANOVA) showed most important factor influencing ability extruded because it detangled protein chains allowed them form new stabilising interactions required consolidation. sample, which 98% 49% white, contained 40 pphBM 10 6
