摘要: Abstract Cytosolic phospholipase A 2 (cPLA2) releases arachidonic acid from membrane phospholipids and is believed to be the rate-limiting enzyme in pathway. We report herein isolation of a 3 kb fragment rodent genomic DNA containing part first intron, exon 5′-flanking sequence. The start site transcription was mapped by 5′-rapid amplification cDNA ends corroborated ribonuclease protection assay. gene has TATAless promoter with no classical Sp1 binding sites or initiator element. microsatellite series CA repeats noted region both human promoters. Deletion constructs have been analysed for luciferase activity confirmed activity.
