摘要: The pantropical genus Ixora is highly diverse, with several species endemic to the Philippines. Owing their nature, many of these are endangered and little known about basic biology. This study aimed establish baseline information bioclimatic niches Philippines, determine suitable areas potential range shifts under future climate conditions, identify priority for conservation research. Locality records 12 from Philippine archipelago were analyzed, a particular focus on five most abundant I. auriculata, bartlingii, cumingiana, macrophylla, one island species, palawanensis. Bioclimatic variables WorldClim database at 2.5′ resolution used, annual means seasonality temperature precipitation as well warmest quarter. Analysis relationships locations showed that focal generally had narrow wider niches. Species distribution modeling model Maxent suggested auriculata bartlingii will likely shift geographic distributions southwards predicted levels change, while cumingiana macrophylla found expand ranges. palawanensis, in contrast, was decrease its change. Further, results rare bibracteata, chartacea, ebracteolata, inaequifolia, longistipula, luzoniensis, macgregorii presented, which, however, much less observation points therefore only provide first estimate distributions. generated habitat suitability maps can assist policy makers designing strategies identifying withstand change until least 2080.
