摘要: Abstract Seaweeds are traditionally used as sea vegetables in Asian countries but their consumption by western people is marginal. Species mainly red and brown algae. The biochemical content of marine algae provides a high nutritional value, similar to that found traditional vegetable food sources. Nowadays, the use seaweeds sources proteins, pigments, or minerals appears be an interesting opportunity for valorization resource. Phycobiliproteins, which main light-harvesting pigments photosystem II Cyanobacteria Rhodophyta, only water-soluble algal pigments. Their specific structure function confer wide range applications. R-phycoerythrin one these soluble proteins widely fluorescent probe colorant depending on its purity. Numerous studies have been conducted extract purify phycoerythrins using various methods.
