摘要: Visual backward masking is an experimental paradigm used to study information processing in the visual system (Kahneman, 1968). Using this paradigm, minor changes temporal intervals between two tachistoscopically presented stimuli produce major accuracy of perceiving first (or target) stimulus. In dichoptic target stimulus one eye and a contoured mask) other eye. monoptic mask ing are same Monoptic considered be primarily related peripheral interactions, while masking, because involves integration beyond optic chiasm, more centrally mediated.
