摘要: The angle formed between the anatomical axis and mechanical of femur determines resection distal in total knee arthroplasty. objective this study was to analyse safety routine practice selecting 5-6 degrees valgus for femoral cut during uncomplicated primary A retrospective undertaken involving a review pre-operative CT scout films osteoarthritic knees 83 consecutive patients (44 males 39 females; mean age 70 years) who presented were plotted on two axes measured. Mean 5.4 (range 3.3-7.6 degrees, SD 0.9 degrees). Estimated 95% confidence interval population 5.2-5.6 degrees. There no significant differences age, gender or laterality limb. 5 6 an arthroplasty is safe.
