摘要: INTRODUCTION This paper discusses large scale, connectivity conservation areas which interconnect protected areas. It has a special focus on the large, remaining unprotected natural found along great mountain ranges of Earth. These involve working with people, lands and provide opportunities for maintaining connectedness ecosystem processes; conserving species, habitat ecosystems; movement animals plants between is focused can strategically assist species at time climate change. an IUCN World Commission Protected Areas (WCPA) strategic plan action also 2015 target Convention Biological Diversity’s Programme Work (Dudley et al. 2005). The concept scale introduced by this paper, forecast impacts change biome shift are described role in mitigating threats discussed. Connectivity adaptive response to some examples mountains provided how these managed introduced. Some service benefits that flow people as consequence investment briefly described.
