摘要: Abstract Deployment of heterogeneous wireless networks is spreading throughout the world as users want to be connected anytime, anywhere, and anyhow. Meanwhile, are increasingly interested in multimedia applications such audio, video streaming Voice over IP (VoIP), which require strict Quality Service (QoS) support. Provisioning Always Best Connected (ABC) network with constraints a challenging task. Considering availability various access technologies, it difficult for operator find reliable criteria select best that ensures user satisfaction while reducing multiple selection. Designing an efficient Network selection algorithm, this type environment, important research problem. In paper, we propose novel algorithm utilizing signal strength, available bit rate, noise ratio, achievable throughput, error rate outage probability metrics The combined PSO relative dynamic weight optimization. proposed implemented typical environment EDGE (2.5G) UMTS (3G).
