摘要: Abstract In this study comparisons are made between Met Office mesoscale model boundary layer profiles, and radiosonde data collected in the central United Kingdom during three intensive cloud experiments. Significant differences forecast observed profiles were found. An assessment of whether these dominated by sonde random error or is performed. Results suggest that errors insignificant for stratocumulus fields, but not cumulus ones. show fields do represent fine vertical structure seen observations. The impact result prediction discussed, an estimate resolution required to adequately parameterize field provided.
