摘要: Posterior lumbar interbody fusion (PLIF) is accepted by many authors as the surgical treatment for herniated discs, degenerative disc conditions, and Grades I II spondylolistheses. PLIF now used in conjunction with newly developed segmental spine plates using transpedicular screw fixation to enhance osteosynthesis success rate of fusion. To date, 104 fusions have been performed 67 patients no dislocations any grafts indication absorption, pseudoarthrosis, or infections.
